Homemade ice cream sundaes π¨
Tonight with the most delicious ice cream made just over the hill in Nelson by Appleby Farms Ice Cream πΆπ
If I could eat only one ice cream flavour for the rest of my life it would be vanilla and this one right here is full of flavour + super creamy and is perfect paired with homemade caramel sauce, toasted almonds & fresh banana ππ¦
For anyone that grew up in the 80βs and enjoyed a dinner out you may have fond memories of an ice cream sundae with either chocolate, caramel or strawberry sauce, perhaps some chopped peanuts, whipped cream + some wafer slices cut into triangles to adorn the top.
This combination is my simple take on a childhood favourite...as well as a traditional caramel sauce.
Ingredients
2Tbspn coconut oil
2 Tbspn pure maple syrup
2 Tbspn cashew butter
Dash vanilla
Method
Simply bring everything to a simmer, stirring in a pot until smooth.

Ps. There's something so delectable about hot caramel sauce being drizzled over creamy cold ice cream!
